Men’s Soccer Program

Dare Anlylkare a senior forward from Brooklyn in Kings County, NY.

  • named to the All-HVIAC Men’s Soccer Team
  •  received USCAA Honorable Mention All-American honors
  •  HVIAC Player of the Week for the week of October 15.

Ulises Bravo a senior defender who is a returning player from Manhattan, NY  has continued to contribute to the success of the Berkeley College Soccer program.

Joachim Moe a senior and returning  defender for the Men’s Soccer program from Trondheim in Norway.

  • received USCAA All-Academic honors.

Abdelwahab Mohamed a senior midfielder from Brooklyn in Kings County, NY. Mr. Mohamed has led the conference in both goals and assists- the first time a player has led the HVIAC in both categories.

  •  named to the All-HVIAC Men’s Soccer Team
  • HVIAC Player of the Week for the weeks of Spetember 10 and October 1.

Camilo Montes a senior goalie from Corona in Queens, NY .

  • named to both the All-HVIAC Men’s Soccer Team and the USCAA National Tournament All-Tournament Team.
  •  named HVIAC Player of the week of September 4
  • HVIAC Honor Roll for the week of October 8.

Haakon Schjelderup a freshman defender from Kolvereid in Norway and Manhattan, NY.

  • named to the All-HVIAC Men’s Soccer Team
  • received USCAA Second Team All-American honors.
  • named HVIAC Rookie of the Week for the week of October 21
  •  named to the HVIAC Honor Roll for the weeks of September 4 and October 1.

Stavros Zomopoulos  the Head Coach for the Berkeley College Men’s Soccer, New York.

  • named HVIAC Coach of the Year, after leading he Knights to an undefeated record in HVIAC play.

Women’s Soccer Program 

Briana Ortega is a sophomore defender from Manhattan, N.Y and a returning player who has continued to contribute to the ongoing success of the Women’s soccer program.

Wendy Valladres  is a sophomore central midfielder from central Bronx, N.Y

  • named the HVIAC Honor Roll in October.

We would like to recognize as well as congratulate the mentioned athletes on their continuing efforts and achievements to the continued success of the Berkeley College Men and Women’s Soccer program.
