I’m sure by now you all have heard about the highs, lows, controversy & history that culminated from this year’s 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards. The show was full of life from Beyoncé & Jay Z opening the show with Bey’s new single “Drunk In Love” to Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr reuniting on stage to bring some Beatles flavor to the show.

Stand Out Performances

Kendrick Lamar x Imagine Dragons – This had to have been the most energetic set of the night. The mix between IG’s smash single “Radioactive” & Kendrick’s “mAAD city” record was simply amazing. In the beginning it seemed that they both would take turns performing songs but a few lines into “Radioactive” you hear hear mAAD city‘s chant “YAK YAK YAK YAK!” scream through the building; leading into a great blend of the IG’s band instrumentation & Kendrick’s infectious delivery.

John Legend

It may be over shadowed by the other hype of the night but for those who witnessed John Legend perform his single “All of Me“, you know that he vocally caught & kept everybody’s attention. Not many people can perform solo with just a piano and receive the love he got from the audience. Great Job Mr. Legend!
