The Berkeley Press team had the opportunity to attend an exclusive Fashion for Charity Event sponsored by MTV during New York Fashion Week.
This event showcased fabulous designers such as Pamela Quinzi, Giovanni Lo Presti and House of Roderick.
It was a full house with upbeat house music and people who wanted to see the next “it” designer.
Before the show began, the most fashion forward guests got on stage to show off their attire for the evening.
These three gentlemen stood out the most with their intricate pattern selection and color scheme.
One of the featured designers that caught my eye was the fabulous Giovanni Lo Presti.
Lo Presti’s designs were edgy and unalike. Not only did the designs speak for themselves, but the models did a fantastic job modeling the pieces with their masquerade masks.
It is important to attend events during fashion week in order to not only network but to spot the next up and coming designers.
For a fashion enthusiast like myself, it’s important to be on top of the trends for next season and to find inspiration for my own ready to wear looks.
