I am a fashion major with a minor in International Business. What I have learned in the classroom has not only helped me succeed at Berkeley, but out in the real world as well. I am currently the assistant to the president of Khuraira Cosmetics. Although my two and a half years here have gone by fast, I have accomplished many goals. I was accepted to be an orientation leader as well as a member of the Honors Program. I had the opportunity to coordinate two fashion shows, including a show for Last Call by Neiman Marcus and the Back to School Fashion Show at the Rockaway Mall. I was able to create and now edit the first ever Berkeley College fashion lifestyle magazine Berkeley Bold. After I graduate in the fall, the knowledge I have gained will allow me to continue to reach new goals in the field. My advice to all Berkeley students is to study hard and take advantage of all the opportunities Berkeley College has to offer!”
