Guy Adamo, PhD, Associate Chair, Fashion, Berkeley College Larry L. Luing School of Business, has been named the New York University (NYU) 2014 Business and Workplace Education Alumni of the Year. Dr. Adamo was chosen for the award because he has professionally distinguished himself since graduating from NYU’s doctoral program in Business Education/Higher Education in 2008. The award recognizes Dr. Adamo’s strong, continued involvement in business and in higher education. He has been a professor at Berkeley College for more than 23 years, serving 15 years as Chair of Fashion including three years as Chair of Fashion and Marketing. Dr. Adamo also is a 2009 recipient of the NYU Dr. Paul S. Lomax Award for Doctoral Scholarship and Leadership. He received a Berkeley College Leadership Award in 2007 and a Berkeley College Faculty of the Year Award in 2003.
