I would describe my experience at Berkeley College as a motivational journey! Like many students, going into college brings many challenges with it. However, working full-time and going to school allowed me to become more independent and gain responsibility. One of the big upsides to Berkeley is the ability to network with students in your major. I was able to receive one on one time with professors in smaller class rooms. Overall, the classes that really stood out to me in my program were Visual Merchandising, Product Development, and Fashion Forecasting.
These classes were able to provide me with first hand experience and knowledge that now relate to my current full-time job. I would also like to say thanks to the Career Services Department at Berkley College for helping me get to where I am today. I was recently employed at Vantage Apparel in Avenel, New Jersey. I currently hold the title of Regional Project Manager for the West Coast.
In conclusion, I would once again like to thank all the professors and staff members at Berkeley College for the education and motivation they provide for their students! I’m also excited to currently be back at Berkeley working on my BBA for Fashion Merchandising and Management, and minoring in International Business.
